The next day Anthony had to catch a plane to Miami where he performed a show at the Lincoln Theater for a benefit dinner and singer songwriter competition and the rest of the family began our vacation by laying out by the pool and drinking margaritas. That evening was the welcome dinner at a fun restaurant on the beach in the heart of Puerto Vallarta. This was the first time in the vacation where the entire group of guest who were attending the wedding got together. 40 friends and family members made the long trip from all over the country so it was so nice to get to spend more time with them then just at the wedding. The evening was full of great stories many laughs and was wrapped up with a perfect beach sunset.
Thursday morning the whole crew went on a snorkeling boat trip. A few of us stayed behind with the little ones and those who were prone to getting sea sick. Once again the day was terrible with delicious homemade Mexican cuisine, pool side drinks, and a lot of rest and relaxation. In the evening a few of the wild ones went to a club in town for a tequila tasting party. All I can say about that was no one was sick the next day so the tequila must not have been that tasty.
Friday was the day Anthony flew back from Miami so Lily and I were very excited to see him and to get to enjoy paradise with him too. Some of the guest and most of the family that were staying at the villa went zip lining in the jungle and also visited a small hands on zoo that was in the same area as the zip lining tour. In the evening was the rehearsal dinner for the wedding.

The big day finally arrived! Saturday morning all of the girls gathered at a resort called the Weston- this is where Sarah and Jeff would be staying for there first honeymoon night. We all got pedicures and manicures and this is also where the ladies got dressed for the wedding. Sarah looked stunning in her white dress with her tan skin. She was truly a beautiful bride. At 6:50 the bride’s car was waiting and off to the transformed villa where the wedding would take place we went. The scene was breathtaking. The sun was setting, guests were looking over the ocean and the pools had hundreds of candles surrounding them, and the ground was painted with fuchsia and tangerine colored rose petals. Following the ceremony, the guest were lead to the private beach where mariachis played and drinks and appetizers were served. The specialty drink was a fantastic mango margarita. After a short time every one was taken pool side for dinner and dancing. The dinner was delicious but the cakes were decedent, there was a deep chocolate cake and a refreshing pinacolada cake that went right along with the beach theme. But the very best part of the evening was the dancing everyone had a blast. Sarah and Jeff had wood maracas engraved with there names and the date of there day, they were so much fun everyone shook there maracas and danced the night away. Around 1 am Anthony and I were both extremely hot from dancing not to mention the humid weather and thought it would be a blast to dance in the pool… so we did! We jumped in fully clothed in our nice wedding attire, hoping we would convince the rest of the guest it was time to make it a pool party. Sure enough with in 20 minutes there was almost every person in the pool except for the bride and groom. (Party poopers)
The next day was just as relaxing as the first three days which was much needed after that long night of swim dancing.
Monday morning we said our good byes and took the plane home. The flight home was not a peaceful as our first. Lily cried and acted out the entire way home, it was sure exhausting. Perhaps she was just sad to get back to reality? Over all the trip was an incredible vacation and a really special wedding. We are all so blessed to have the opportunity to experience such a wonderful time and we are blessed Sarah and Jeff have found true happiness in each other.
