Lily loves to take baths so Anthony and I couldn’t wait to see her in a swimming pool. The past few weekends have been reaching the 100 degree mark on the thermometer so we thought it was time to take her swimming. This past lazy Sunday afternoon we went to Sarah’s private pool in her housing complex and took a dip. First off Lily loved getting to wear her swimsuit, sunglasses and hat. No matter what was going on she did not want anyone to take her glasses off, she is quite the fashionista! Once we were at the pool her first reaction was excitement because she seemed to like the look of the "big bathtub" and the all the kids splashing around, but as soon as she got her feet in the cold water she cried. She did not throw too big of a fit so I think eventually she will like it. I’m sure she was just surprised by the cold water and the new experience.
